Azerbaijani international grandmaster Gunay Mammadzada became the winner of “2022 "Belt and Road" World Women's Chess Masters Summit Tournament” international chess tournament with the competition of 12 chess players from seven countries, held in Xi'an city of the People's Republic of China on January 7-8.

Azerbaijani chess player who ranked 18th in the "Top 100 female chess players" list of the International Chess Federation (FIDE), is one of the five youngest female grandmasters in the world.
